RAD AXEL

Rad Axel is a 2D side-scroller platformer game, with themes of environmentalism throughout. The game brings players into the perspective of Axel, a young Axolotl, whose lake habitat has been polluted, it follows him as he embarks on a quest to find the source of said pollution, encountering dangerous and bizarre enemies along the way, as well as allies, such as his best friend, Sally. 

On Axel's quest, he is provided with weaponry from his friend, allowing him to fire at enemies with a gun-like weapon that shoots bubbles.

Rad Axel features themes of environmentalism, as the game showcases various factors of the Axolotl's endangerment, and environmental threats, such as urbanization. Rad Axel provides both education regarding the Axolotl's largest threats, environmental or predatory, and the experience of shooting said threats with a bubble gun.
